Tanpa paksaan, artis Bella Saphira hadir di Masjid Istiqlal, Jakarta Pusat, Jumat (26/7/2013) pagi. Perempuan 39 tahun itu meminta untuk diIslamkan alias menjadi muallaf. Tepat pukul 10.00 WIB, Bella masuk ke ruang utama masjid termegah di Asia Tenggara itu. Bella mengenakan pakaian muslim berwarna hijau muda lengkap dengan kerudung yang menutupi kepalanya. Dengan lantang, Bella mengucap dua kalimat syahadat menirukan ucapan sang ustaz. Dengan tegas pula, Bella membacakan artinya. "Insya Allah saya siap. Bukan karena paksaan," tandas Bella.
